The anime is turned into the game to give you a feel of what the characters went through during the heated battles. Out of the 4 meisters involved in Celetial Being, choose one of them as your player character and take up the missions that challenges both your reflexes and judgement.

For every mission, you can change partners. Get to know the other meisters and see what kind of operations they excel in. Besides the existing plot elements, you can also view original episodes that are written for the game. Combo and battle animations are most beautifully done.

Choose Yes No. This is a good game but people thinking its zaft vs alliance it is not but it does play good and the mobile suits look killer and the action movies are a cool break from the action its a timing the and there is a original story line to. The main menu is in English however the rest of the submenus are in Japanese with a bit of flair. You get a choice of jumping straight into the Mission mode where the bulk of the one player game is. From what I heard from a friend who played this, the control system is somewhat similar to Zone of the Enders but as I have not played that game before, I cannot tell. As a Gundam 00 fan, I had to give this a try and I was pleasantly surprised by some of the incredible details put in the attack cutscenes, especially in the movie sequence which better demonstrates the tag team work of Tieria and Setsuna against the Thrones. Hold to manually charge meter in Versus mode. If timed right, you can cause the enemy to recoil and open up for an attack. Shields will be shattered if they block a Special Charge attack. Each mobile suit has a close range and long range charge attack. Charging up does more damage and if you hold this to the limit, it will release on its own. Doing a charge attack depletes your boost gauge so you won't be able to boost or block until the gauge is replenished.

As far as I know, R3 and L3 do nothing. When you take damage, the orange part will get depleted. Holding Triangle will keep the shield active while draining the bar. As mentioned earlier, this gauge gets depleted if the special charge attack is used. In Versus Mode, you can set the timer to a predetermined amount or put it on infinite time.

Once it's filled, you can press Circle to enter 0 Mode. In Versus, you can hold Circle to manually charge the meter. When it's full, the 0 attack will instantly activate. However, your opponent can hit you to cause some of the charge to vanish.

Also, if you're not charging, the meter will slowly deplete. If you have a flashing meter that's not completely full, you can also activate your 0 attack if you press Circle at the precise point that the meter depletion point hits the precise point at which the meter stops flashing. The timing can be a pain to deal with. You can get four grades on how well you perform which could allow you to maximize defence chances against enemy 0 attacks or maximize damage capability when performing your own 0 attacks.

Each sequence will have different button displays and you must press them on your Pad when prompted to do so. This is similar to performing Ougis for the Naruto series on PS2 so it's straight forward.

Player 1 has to go from left to right while Player 2 goes from right to left. When doing the 0 mode in single player, you see a series of green and red arrows.

Press the directional pad in the direction of a red arrow to destroy an enemy and continue your chain. Pressing the directional pad in the direction of a green arrow merely damages an enemy and keeps the chain alive although it won't add to the chain count.

The higher you go, the fewer arrows that appear. Make sure you press in the right direction within a second or two of the arrows appearing to keep your chain alive. Depending on how high you finish, you will get different attack movie sequences.

You are maxed out when you do chains and you will go into an automatic attack movie sequence. If you get 'Perfect' status on each sequence, you will max out at chains.
